MOMMY, MOMMY, MOMMY

Whew....  A weekend full of Mommy, Mommy, and more Mommy!!!

Friday London's school had the Kindergarten Mommy Makeover...

It was the cutest thing ever.  The classroom was set up like a mini spa and each kid had their own station, the teachers were dressed in black with cute little aprons acting as the receptionist. After the mommy's got checked in, the kids escorted us to their station and got to pamper their mom.... I'm talking the works.... hair, make-up, massage, mani's and pedi's and lots of hugs and handmade gifts (my favorite part).  Just picture it, a bunch of 5 and 6 year olds making over mommy.  It was precious and had London asked me to go out in public with her afterwards, I would have.....OK, I might have re-done my hair!!!  I did however walk around for 2 days with two different colors of nail polish on my toes....hot pink on the left and irredessent orange on the right.

Matt left town Thursday night so it was all Mommy Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Saturday we got up and took a bike ride to the donut shop.  I got a little over ambitious and decided to ride on to the park down the street.  After playing at the park for a while... and I promise we were there long enough to work off our donut... I called it quits and loaded the girls up and we headed home. It was a LONG ride back home and me and my 18 week pregnant self pulling Kinley in the bike trailer wasn't sure if I was going to make it all the way back home.  :)

We made it home, I rested and re-hydrated and then my crazy self packed up a picnic lunch and we headed out for park #2.  It was a blast and the girls had a blast.  The ducks were not afraid to get up close and it made for a really fun picnic.

Matt came home just in time for dinner Saturday and we had pizza on the porch.  I was so glad to see him home.  He went to Fort Worth for a golf tournament and met with a realtor about listing our house.  Hopefully the market is better now than it was a few years ago.

Sunday was more Mommy.... Mother's Day.  I got to sleep in a little and then was woken up by two sweet girls saying 'Happy Mother's Day!" and holding hand made cards.  I am so lucky to be a mommy and it fulfills every part of me.

We went to church and then out for a quick lunch, stopped by London's favorite ice cream spot for dessert then home for some outside fun.  We had a fancy dinner.... left overs.... and then all crashed!!
